With the closing of the year I wanted to let you know about some of the changes made to the website and what you can expect to see in the future.
Starting off, why did we even need to make changes to the website in the first place?
Well it's always important to take time and ask the question "How does the website look, and is it accurate to what we do?"
For the first part it's nice every couple of years to look back and see what can be done to improve the look of a website and keep it modern. It can be painfully clear if a website hasn't received some TLC in a while. On top of that there have been so many new tools to come out the past few years alone it's easier then ever to update. The last time I did a complete overhaul was during covid lockdowns, and well, a few things have changed since then making a focused updated due.
So what's changed?
Overall the website looks more professional now and there's been a focus to make it easier to access via mobile. A main point has been to reorganize the various parts to make things easier to find and need less scrolling to get what you want. As such our homepage has been simplified so you can quickly click to the section you want to go to. Now you can at a glace see the various events we offer and learn more about them, removing confusion on what it is that we do.
And what's new?
The membership page has been changed to local events removing a lot of clutter from the home page. The digital domain has been replaced with about us to keep updated on what's happening. Lastly we've added a page for the cabaret as it has become its own event.
